Kim is an environmental lawyer and policy consultant who has dedicated her entire career towards helping her clients make our earth a little greener. Kim is passionate about sustainability and the environment and has been widely recognized for her influence and leadership in the field.  A sought-after thought leader, Kim has sat on the boards of several environmental organizations, taught Environmental Law for Pepperdine Law School and UCLA Extension, and has extensive experience speaking and writing on numerous issues related to environmental protection.

Known for her level of commitment to achieve results and impact, Kim has spent 30+ years representing corporations (from mom and pop to Fortune 500 companies), developers, and individuals seeking to comply with environmental laws and to get contaminated properties cleaned up and back into reuse, as well as representing - and working as an executive within - environmental nonprofits, foundations and tribes to help them stem pollution of our land, sea, and sky.

When her kids started school, she volunteered to green their school and district, helping them receive the U.S. Department of Education’s Green Ribbon award.  In just one meeting, every single school in the district was converted to “Green Seal” certified cleaning supplies, resulting in thousands of kids no longer being exposed to harmful chemicals!  This inspired Kim to found Grades of Green, an environmental education nonprofit that has inspired and empowered close to a million students across 47 states and 27 countries to care for the environment.

Kim was often asked by individuals how they too could make a difference. This led to Kim founding a blog, “Everyday Eco-Habits for Everyday People”, providing simple tips everyday people can adopt to live a little greener.

Kim brings all of her legal, teaching, nonprofit, and policy experience to bear to assist clients in all aspects of environmental advocacy.
